Technical datasheets

As product, the technical datasheets have an illustrative value and provide potential solutions tailored to all. For each topic (playground, hotel, pool and bathing areas, etc.) and using the minimum accessibility prerequisites set by the law, the documents describe the requirements to design projects for All.
These factsheets together form the Universal Design Manual of the Design for All Switzerland Competence Centre.

Users/experiencers of Design for All spaces

The publication presents a list of possible end users (people who move with a stroller, a white cane, wheelchair, in company, etc.) and how they interact with their environments.
Each illustration is combined with units and measurements, to provide basic information on how to dimension spaces in an accessible and inclusive way. (Total number

Playground Design for All

The publication serves as a practical tool to design playgrounds tailored for everyone following the Design for All methodology.

It addresses key issues to the design of inclusive play areas, such as: the identification of target audiences and their respective requirements, the reconciliation between architectural elements based on technical standards (or minimum requirements) and for All elements, the guiding concepts to create playgrounds for all and the submission of a possible project proposal.(Total number of pages: 42)
