Anna Bernardi completed her degree at the Academy of Architecture of the Università della Svizzera italiana, in Mendrisio, where she also obtained her PhD. Currently he is teaching and research at l’Istituto di storia e teoria dell’arte e dell’architettura (ISA) dell’Accademia di architettura, where she holds a course dedicated to Trauma Architecture, while collaborating as assistant, with the chair of Museology and Museography (head of department: Professor Carla Mazzarelli).
Her research focuses on places of memory and the problems related to the representation of collective trauma in contemporary art and architecture.
She has recently published the book "Architettura e politiche della memoria" (Mendrisio Academy Press 2023).
